Benefits
'PICU Team of the Year Award 2008' . The judges will be looking for teams that demonstrate evidence of service improvements, realistic and achievable planned developments to services or a team and evidence of team working and liaison with others. Full details can be found in the 'Members Only' area.
Discounted delegate rates at the annual conference. When more than one delegate attends the conference it is likely that the discount will actually cover the cost of membership for that year.
Attend Quarterly Meetings free of charge Non members normal fee £25
Recieve the International Journal twice a year The subscription for the Journal is approximately £72 per year.
Recieve the NAPICU Bulletin The Bulletin wil be posted to members twice a year.
Advertise your vacancies on the discussion board for free.. Some conditions apply.
Be able to apply for a Travel Bursary. Members will have the opportuntity to apply for a Travel Bursary of £500. Applicants will either be proposing to undertake a period of study or be wishing to present findings of work completed.
Executive Committee. Members will have the opportuntity under the present consitution to stand for elections to the Executive Committee every three years. All nominees must have the support of their employer to enable the nominee to attend meetings and undertake work for NAPICU.
Rates
Membership rates are dependant upon the number of beds within the organisation and the staus of that organisation. Full details are sent with the application form.
Payment Methods
All applicants are encouraged to establish a Standing Order to NAPICU. Alternative methods of payment are available, including Credit Cards (payable via the phone), Cheques or NHS Bacs Transfer. Full details can be sent upon receipt of an application to join NAPICU.
