The National Standards for In-patient PICU and Low Secure Services were launched at the Department of Health by Jacqui Smith,MP, Minister for Health on Tuesday, April 30th 2002. The work undertaken by the Practice Development Network facilitated by NAPICU and NELMET played an important part in the development of the standards for Psychiatric Intensive Care. The standards are minimum standards which can be used to benchmark the quality of services. |
