About UsThe National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care Units is a truly multi disciplinary clinician lead organisation committed to the development of psychiatric intensive care and low secure services primarily in the UK. We are very proud to announce that we are now in our 14th year. The aim of NAPICU is to advance the care and treatment of those people who require Psychiatric Intensive Care and low secure units in acute services. We try to achieve this through promoting and sharing good practice, providing education and training, encouraging clinicians to establish networks and by undertaking research and audit. NAPICU members can further benefit from free places at regional meetings and discounted rates for NAPICU Annual Conferences hosted each year by one of our member organisations. Free bi-annual subscription to the Journal of Psychiatric Intensive Care, which was launched in September 2005. Members can also access the napicu.net email service, file sharing and live chat facilities. If you are committed to the development and improvement of services and want to get more involved then please contact us . |
